Our physiotherapists bring a broad range of skills and experience. Our special interests and clinical services are designed from an evidence-based approach. All our physios are mentored to maintain the same standard of care, with a patient-focused mentality. This includes proper assessment, clinical treatments, personalised rehab and a clear relationship to help the community for the long term.

Matthew Del Frate
Senior Physiotherapist

About Matt
Matt is a senior physiotherapist with a strong background in sport and exercise science, and experience across both metropolitan and regional Western Australia. He works with a wide range of patients, supporting everything from acute injuries through to complex, long-term rehabilitation.

Clinical focus
Matt has a particular interest in sports injuries, endurance-related conditions and post-operative rehabilitation. He regularly treats spinal and joint issues, tendinopathy, headaches and TMJ conditions, and complex or recurring musculoskeletal injuries.

Approach to care
Matt specialises in manual therapy, objective assessment and long-term rehabilitation. His approach is evidence-based and focused on helping people rebuild confidence in their movement through clear education, progressive loading and tailored rehab programs.

Outside the clinic
Matt enjoys surfing, running and endurance sport, and brings firsthand experience from triathlons and ultra running into his clinical work.

Bree Urbani
Titled Physiotherapist (Continence & Pelvic Health)

About Bree
Bree is a highly experienced physiotherapist with over 15 years’ experience across private and public health settings. She has worked in a wide range of clinical areas, including musculoskeletal, neurological, paediatric and pelvic health physiotherapy.

Clinical focus
Bree’s primary area of focus is continence and pelvic health. She supports women, men and children with pelvic floor dysfunction, including bladder and bowel incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain and recovery following childbirth or prostate surgery.

Approach to care
Bree takes a thorough, individualised approach to assessment and treatment, helping patients understand their condition and how to manage it effectively. Her work is guided by evidence-based practice, education and tailored exercise prescription, including the use of real-time ultrasound where appropriate.

Bree enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors with her young family.

About Braden
Braden is a physiotherapist with a strong academic and sporting background. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) from Curtin University, graduating on the Vice Chancellor’s List, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Movement Science from Murdoch University.

Clinical focus
Braden works across a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and injury prevention. He regularly treats hip, shoulder, knee, spine and ankle conditions, as well as tendinopathy and long-term rehab cases.

Approach to care
Braden brings a patient-centred approach to physiotherapy, combining clear diagnosis, structured rehabilitation and strength-based programming. His goal is to help people recover efficiently and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Braden has a strong connection to football, having played at Subiaco Football Club, and enjoys gym training and running.

Duke Nagtzaam
Physiotherapist

About Duke
Duke is a physiotherapist with a strong background in sports and exercise rehabilitation. He completed his Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University with high academic standing and has experience supporting both clinic-based patients and athletes in competitive sporting environments.

Clinical focus
Duke works primarily with sports and surf-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He regularly treats spine, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle injuries, tendinopathy, and orthopaedic post-op cases.

Approach to care
Duke’s approach combines accurate diagnosis, injury prevention and evidence-based treatment. He focuses on restoring movement, managing load and guiding patients through structured rehabilitation to support both performance and long-term health.

Outside the clinic
Duke is a high-level surfer and has worked in AFL acute care with the Dunsborough Sharks. He enjoys surfing, gym training, running and staying active.

Keeley Johnson
Physiotherapist

About Keeley
Keeley is a physiotherapist who graduated from Curtin University and has experience working across both regional and metropolitan settings. She completed rural placements in Broome and Dunsborough and is excited to be working in the South West community.

Clinical focus
Keeley works across musculoskeletal and paediatric physiotherapy, with experience supporting sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and long-term rehab. She regularly treats ankle, knee, hip, shoulder and spinal conditions, as well as adolescent and paediatric presentations.

Approach to care
Keeley takes a collaborative, individualised approach to rehabilitation, combining clear diagnosis, manual therapy and structured exercise rehab. She focuses on helping patients feel supported, understood and confident as they work towards their goals.

Outside the clinic
Keeley enjoys open water swimming, gym training and spending time at the beach. Having recovered from her own ACL reconstruction, she brings a personal understanding of the rehabilitation process.

Trev Lawrence-Brown
Principal, Titled Physiotherapist (Musculoskeletal)

About Trev
Trev is the founder of Down South Physio and a highly experienced musculoskeletal sports physiotherapist. He graduated from Curtin University in 2004 and has worked extensively in private practice, specialising in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Clinical focus
Trev’s clinical expertise centres on complex musculoskeletal diagnosis, sports injuries and high-level rehabilitation. He has worked with elite sporting organisations including West Coast Fever (Netball), Perth Thundersticks (Hockey) and West Coast Waves (Basketball), and is currently contracted with Surfing Australia and the World Surf League.

Approach to care
Trev completed a Master’s in Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy) and is highly skilled in manual therapy, spinal manipulation, sports taping, dry needling and rehabilitation. He also plays a key role in mentoring and training the physiotherapy team, ensuring a consistent, evidence-based approach across the clinic.
