VALD Performance Testing

Our clinic uses VALD diagnostic technology to take the guesswork out of your recovery. These advanced assessment tools give your physio precise, objective data on your strength, movement and muscle function — so your treatment plan is built on evidence, not just feel.

What Is a VALD Assessment?

VALD is a suite of clinical testing tools used to measure things like muscle strength, force output and movement imbalances. During your assessment, your physio will guide you through a series of simple, pain-free tests using specialised equipment. The results give a clear, data-driven picture of where your body is at — highlighting weaknesses, asymmetries or deficits that might not be obvious in a standard assessment.

Why Does It Matter?

Numbers don't lie. VALD testing gives you and your physio a shared baseline to work from, so you can see exactly where you're starting, set meaningful targets and track real progress over time.

Whether you're recovering from an ACL reconstruction, managing a recurring hamstring issue or working toward a performance goal, it takes the ambiguity out of rehab and replaces it with confidence that you're on track.
